A&D Technology - Lobby Remodel
In my role as graphic designer at Paragon Design & Display, I was tasked with creating a series of cohesive graphics and signage for A&D Technology. Located in Ann Arbor, MI, A&D Technology works with a variety of companies in the energy and transportation industries to deliver testing equipment and lab management solutions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, A&D had their North American headquarters office completely remodeled, and they reached out to Paragon Design & Display to help them create a graphics package for their lobby that would convey the modern, sleek, and high-tech nature of their company to customers the minute they walked in the door.
I worked closely with A&Dās marketing team, their CEO, and the interior designer in charge of the office remodel to develop this series of lobby graphics, which included window graphics, a corporate timeline, a map wall, vinyl wallpapers, and dimensional logos. The overall look plays with layering materials - vinyl, metal, acrylic - and different patterns to achieve a dynamic, cohesive look. The images below show mood boards, initial sketches, final art files made in Illustrator, and mockups made in Photoshop. I also worked closely with the production and install teams on how all of the materials would be assembled, as well as setting up all of the files to print.
